DEEPER
Grow deeper in Christ and further in Christ’s mission, by joining our
new midweek gathering called DEEPER.
In DEEPER, we will explore a variety of topics in scripture through large group teaching and small group discussion.

The first biblical theme that we will explore ties into our church’s purpose to "reconcile the people of the city to God and one another."
Using scripture texts and the book, Subversive Witness by Dominique Gilliard, we will study several people in scripture: Pharaoh's daughter, Esther, Moses, Paul and Silas, Jesus and Zacchaeus. Each of these Biblical characters will help to cast a vision for faithful participation in building a beloved community as we co- labor with Christ.
Each session will include a large group teaching and then a time in small groups for further discussion. To help foster trust and transparency, we plan to keep the small groups the same throughout this entire session; therefore, we are asking that participants commit to attending as much as possible.
Childcare will be available for children 6mo- 5th grade for a family fee of $20 for the fall semester and $20 for the spring semester. This will help us provide a small stipend to a worker that will coordinate the childcare for DEEPER.
Books will be made available for $10 each to participants who register.
